Beta Agreement
Last updated: April 28, 2026
System2 is in beta. This page sets expectations: what we're building, what's likely to be rough, what we ask of you in return, and what stays confidential.
1. What this is
System2 is in an active beta period operated by Autono Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Autono Labs," "we," "us"). If you are using System2 during the beta period, this Beta Agreement ("Beta Agreement") applies in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
Where this Beta Agreement conflicts with the Terms of Service, this Beta Agreement controls — but only for the duration of the beta period and only as to features flagged as beta.
2. What "beta" means
Beta software is software that is being actively built and changed. Concretely, you should expect:
- Bugs, including bugs that may cause data loss, incorrect AI output, failed quests, broken Integrations, or unexpected behaviour. Some will be visible; some will be silent.
- Downtime and degradation. We do not offer an uptime SLA during beta. The Service is provided as-is.
- Breaking changes. We reserve the right to change behaviour, rename features, change pricing structure, or remove features entirely with little or no notice. We will email customers about material breaking changes when we reasonably can.
- Data resets. During beta, schema changes occasionally require us to reset or migrate data. We will notify you in advance where reasonable.
- Limited or evolving documentation. What we ship may move faster than what's documented.
3. What we ask of you
We do not charge for the beta. In return, we ask you to:
- Tell us when something breaks. Email feedback@autono.sh with reproduction steps, screenshots, or anything else useful. The faster we hear about a bug, the faster it's fixed.
- Don't use the Service for anything you can't afford to lose. Don't put your company's only copy of anything important into a beta product. Maintain your own backups of source data.
- Don't put regulated content into the Service. See the "Sensitive, regulated, or high-risk content" section of our AI Disclosure. PHI, CJI, classified data, and full payment-card numbers are off-limits during beta.
- Use real workloads where you can. We learn the most from how you actually use the product, not from synthetic test data.
4. Confidentiality
During the beta period, you will see features, performance characteristics, error messages, internal model behaviour, prompt structures, and other information about the Service that is not yet public. Treat all of it as our Confidential Information.
You agree that you will not, without our prior written consent:
- Publicly disclose, publish, blog, tweet, post on social media, or quote in press the existence, design, performance, defects, or other characteristics of beta-period features.
- Share access to your beta workspace with anyone outside your organisation.
- Use the Service to benchmark against, design, or develop a competing product.
You may discuss the existence of System2 generally — that you're using it, that you like it (or don't), that you're in the beta — without violating this section. The restriction is on disclosing non-public details.
These obligations survive termination of the beta and continue for three (3) years from the date of disclosure, except that information that constitutes a trade secret under applicable law remains protected for as long as it qualifies as a trade secret, and information that becomes public through no breach of this Beta Agreement is no longer subject to these restrictions.
5. Feedback license
If you give us feedback — bug reports, feature requests, design suggestions, criticism, ideas, recordings of you swearing at Ted — that feedback is non-confidential and we may use it without obligation, attribution, or payment to you. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without your permission.
You retain all rights in any Customer Content you submit (your messages, files, data from connected Integrations) per the Terms of Service. The feedback license covers your suggestions about how the product should work, not the data you process through it.
6. Disclaimers and liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED DURING BETA "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ACCURATE OUTPUT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or related to your use of the Service during the beta period is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). This limitation applies regardless of theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so parts of these limitations may not apply to you.
7. Term and termination
This Beta Agreement is effective when you first use the Service and continues until the earlier of:
- The end of the beta period, at which point our standard Terms of Service apply alone (and any pricing terms that may then be in effect).
- Termination of your account by you or by us, at any time and for any reason or no reason. We do not promise advance notice of termination during beta.
Sections that by their nature should survive — confidentiality (§4), feedback license (§5), disclaimers and liability (§6) — survive termination.
8. No partnership, no equity, no employment
Nothing in this Beta Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency, or equity interest between you and Autono Labs. You are an independent customer of the beta Service.
9. Everything else
All other terms — governing law, dispute resolution, export controls, assignment, severability — are governed by our Terms of Service. This Beta Agreement is a supplement, not a replacement.
